Li serves as Chief Accounting Officer at Baylor Genetics and has over 20 years of experience in financial services. Prior to joining Baylor Genetics, she held various leadership roles as a chief accounting officer, vice president of finance, treasurer, and controller at both public traded and private companies.
Li received her bachelor’s from Shanghai International Studies University in Shanghai, China and her master’s at Rutgers University in Newark, N.J. In the early stage of her professional career, Li was an auditor in the audit and assurance services at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), serving capital market clients in the greater New York City area. She is also a certified public accountant in the state of New York.
During her professional accounting career, Li led various accounting teams to initial public offering launches, structured financing deals, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other strategic alliances. Furthermore, Li has experience in a variety of industries including biopharmaceutical, financial services, and commercial real estate. She currently serves as a board member for the Cornell Cooperative Extension Erie County.
