Dr. Jerry Wang serves as Senior Vice President of Business Development, Emerging Business, & Strategic Alliance, at Baylor Genetics and has more than 20 years of experience in leadership roles within the healthcare and life sciences industries. In this role, Dr. Wang leads a team of scientists and experts in developing and strategically prioritizing business objectives and growth strategies across our organization, fostering collaborations to drive innovation and growth.

Prior to joining Baylor Genetics, Dr. Wang held leadership roles at global organizations and startups, overseeing acquisitions, partnerships, and licensing deals in molecular diagnostics/genomics and biotech/pharmaceuticals. Most recently, Dr. Wang served in an advisory role supporting business development at Genecast. Prior to that, he was Vice President of Business Development at Genecast, had multiple roles at Illumina, Inc., in global business development and market development, and held similar roles at Baxter BioScience (acquired by Shire), where he focused on licensing, partnering, M&A, and global market expansion.
