Test Updates Memorandum – Biochemical

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY, THE FOLLOWING TEST UPDATE(S) WILL OCCUR:
  • Orotic Acid/Orotidine Determination – Urine (Test code 4210)
    • Due to the unavailability of a key reagent, Baylor Genetics will officially discontinue orotidine determination as part of test code 4210.
    • Test code 4210 will continue to be offered but will include quantitative analysis of orotic acid only.
    • The test name will be updated to Urinary Orotic Acid Analysis.
