Effective September 15, 2014, the Medical Genetics Laboratories at Baylor College of Medicine will discontinue the following tests:
- 9090 – MAX Sequence Analysis
- 9025 – AKT1 Mutation Analysis – Tumor (FFPE Tissue)
- 9026 – AKT1 Mutation Analysis – Tumor (Fresh Frozen Tissue)
In place of the tests above, we recommend the alternative options:
- For AKT1 Mutation Analysis, we suggest our Cancer Gene Mutation Panel (test code 9705).
- For MAX sequence analysis, we suggest our Hereditary Pheochromocytoma-Paraganglioma Cancer Panel (test code 23104).
