Test Discontinuation Memorandum

Effective December 17, 2015, Baylor Miraca Genetics Laboratories (BMGL) will discontinue the following panels:

  • Test code 6725 – HNPCC Comprehensive Panel – Sequence & Deletion/Duplication Analysis (MLH1, MSH2, MSH6)
  • Test code 6726 – HNPCC PLUS Comprehensive Panel – Sequence & Deletion/Duplication Analysis (MLH1, MSH2, MSH6, PMS2, EPCAM)

The following tests may be considered as alternative ordering options:

  • Test code 23204 – High Risk Hereditary Colorectal Cancer Panel (Sequence and copy number analysis of the following genes: APC, BMPR1A, EPCAM, MLH1, MSH2, MSH6, MUTYH, PMS2, PTEN, SMAD4, STK11, and TP53)
  • Test code 6705 – MLH1 Comprehensive – Sequence and Deletion/Duplication Analysis
  • Test code 6710 – MSH2 Comprehensive – Sequence and Deletion/Duplication Analysis
  • Test code 6715 – MSH6 Comprehensive – Sequence and Deletion/Duplication Analysis
  • Test code 6890 – PMS2 Comprehensive – Sequence and Deletion/Duplication Analysis
  • Test code 6888 – EPCAM Deletion Analysis
