Baylor Genetics Launches Online Ordering for Providers

Dear Valued Clients,

Our promise to our providers and their patients is to offer the highest quality genetic testing services and make testing accessible for all. Now, with the click of a few buttons, providers can order our most popular tests from our online portal. To ensure the online portal is the most efficient and user-friendly ordering system, the Baylor Genetics team will continuously be updating and improving the portal.

Major features of this version of the online ordering portal include:

FLAGSHIP PRODUCTS
Our flagship products will be available to order, which include Whole Genome Sequencing, Whole Exome Sequencing, Chromosomal Microarray Analysis, Comprehensive mtDNA Analysis, Global MAPS, and GeneAware.

STATUS DASHBOARD
Providers will have access to a sample status dashboard, which will provide full transparency and tracking of where their patients’ status is in the ordering and reporting process.

HISTORICAL REPORTING
Providers will have access to all the orders that have been placed and reports that have been issued through the portal.

TEST KIT ORDERING
Providers will be able to easily order kits through the online portal, which will be a more simplified process than what has currently been.

What’s Next?

As mentioned, this project will be ongoing and planned updates to the online ordering portal include: 

• Additional products available to order
• An enhanced tracking workflow to improve customer experience
• Updates to the display and layout of the tests in the portal.
