Chunjing Qu

Dr. Chunjing Qu currently serves as Associate Vice President of Clinical Operations at Baylor Genetics and has over nine years of experience in clinical next-generation sequencing (NGS). In this role, Dr. Qu is responsible for overseeing the clinical operation labs, automation team, clinical production, process improvements, and new clinical product launches.
Dr. Qu received her master’s degree in preventive veterinary medicine from the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences in Beijing, China. Additionally, she received her doctorate in cellular & behavioral neurobiology from the University of Oklahoma in Norman. Upon graduation, Dr. Qu worked as a postdoctoral research associate at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Ind., where she studied the interactions between Mist1 and Kras in the initiation and development of pancreatic cancer. In 2013, Dr. Qu joined Baylor Genetics and has spent most of her career focusing on clinical NGS testing.
In her free time, Dr. Qu enjoys gardening and cooking.
